The SAIC Trademark Office published the announcement of the revised “Standards for Trademark Examination and Inquisition” on 4h January 2017.

In order to further standardize the trademark examination and review process, push forward the trademark facilitation reform, enhance the trademark office public service quality, the Trademark Office and Trademark Review Committee gave great importance to the revision of “Standards for Trademark Examination and Inquisition”; the revision was carried out after listening to the views of all parties, referring to the foreign examination standards, and summarizing the practical experience of trademark examination and inquisition.
